Best Holiday Ever : Visiting What Once was the World’s Best Building
after posting flowers pictures at this boring midnight, I guess I’d better write a place review. one of my most favorite places where those flowers pictures took place, Gardens by the Bay.
I went there about two weeks ago on my last day in Singapore with my aunt. well actually it was a family trip with my mom, dad, sister, brother, and my aunt. but my dad went back to Indonesia earlier, and my sister, brother, & mom went to Singapore Science Centre. we were divided into two groups that day bcs I’ve been to Science Centre with my friends, and I wouldn’t spend my last day to go to places I’ve ever visited.
let’s go back to the topic.
Gardens by the Bay is a park divided into three areas, which are Bay Central Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay South Garden. three of them serve breathtaking views. the river is like a border between the bay and the city. such a nice landscaping.
photo taken by my friend, Aisyah Bianny.
but the most attractive ones for me are the conservatory domes and the Supertrees in Bay South Garden.
fyi, the Supertrees and these domes use sustainable building technologies. they conserve their own energy by collecting rain waters, using solar panels to produce electricity , and so on (I forget, should learn more about it).
